Ever since they made Flewellen Way a no left turn and everyone was suppose to go to the main entrance to exit Cross Creek Ranch it has been a real hassel for some living on the East side. Now with the Fry Road/FM1463 intersection open it should ease a lot of people's pain. Now all we need is the Time Wise on the corner of FM1463 and FM1093 to open. They also reported that a funnel could was spotted at the Grand Parkway (Hwy 99) but did not touch down. I woke up to a continuous sound of thunder and lightning. When I turned on the TV to Click 2 Houston they said we were under a tornado watch, not a warning, but a watch. We had some  pea sized hail and a lot of wind. April went to drop off the kids at school and daycare. On her way back she got into Cross Creek Ranch, and to Silver Thistle, where the streets were so flooded that she could go no farther. She called me and I had Darrel go pick her up in his truck which sits high off the ground. When they came back they went left on Silver Thistle and it was not so bad. Darrel asked April if she wanted to go back up Barberry Banks and see how bad it was and she said yes. By the time they went back up Barberry Banks the water had gone down considerably. They saw that the rubber covers for the water meters in the yard had floated past the sidewalk and one was even in the flowerbed of one home. So I looked on grandpkw.com and found out that it is possible that the ramp that leads to Hwy 59, might in the future, become a toll road. Darrel and I played Santa and Mrs. Clause. Darrel thought it might be cold and we had out long johns on. He actually was very comfortable, as was I. We rode into the fair grounds in a golf cart escourted by the Fulshear Police with lights and seirens (and we were not even being arrested). The kids were great and so well behaved. If you ever wanted to go back to a simpler time you really need to make plans to be there next year. They had food booths as well as crafts booths. There is so much comming up in the very near furture. Hear is a list as what to look foward to.</p><p>1) They will be working on replacing the gas line between Jan. 2012 to June 2012. If you have any questions you can call Cindy at 281-895-5305.</p><p>2) Cross Creek Ranch has closed 570 homes to date</p><p>3) Fry Rd. should be opened by the end of the year, giving us a new entrance to Cross Creek Ranch.</p><p>4) AshtonWooods will joining Trendmaker in the 70' section off Flewellen Way.</p><p>5) Taylor Morrison is leaving the 50' section and is being replaced with Plantation Homes</p><p>6) Fulshear Police is hiring another full time officer and another part time officer.</p><p>7) Flewellen Way will become a right turn only at FM1093 when the signs come in. It is recommended that you start going to Cross Creek Ranch Blvd. to access FM1093 going East. I thought someone must have just walked their dog earlier, when I heard a rustle in one of the trees in his front yard and looked up. I saw the biggest racoon I have ever seen. LOL Percious growled and barked like she wanted to kill it, even though it was 4 times her size. LOL So I just made her walk on. I grew up in the country and know a racoon can kill a dog twice its size.
