Darrel and I watched the season finale of dancing with the stars last night and it was spectacular. Darrel said he wish he could dance like that, and I told him he needs to learn how to dance period. LOL I think what tipped the scale was all of the football fans cheering him on. I was on the internet and Yahoo has a great article on the show and I posted it below. Enjoy.

Darrel and I went to Coushatta in Louisiana for his birthday celebration. Coushatta has a Birthday Bash every month for people who have a birthday in the month, yesterday was May's bash. If your name is drawn you get to go into a glass booth for 60 seconds with $1,000.00 swirling and anything you catch and stuff into a box on the side of the booth you get to keep. They do 5 drawings and there is $1,000.00 for each contestant, the last one doesn't go in the booth, he just gets what ever is left over out of the $5,000.00. Darrel's name was not called, but we still had a great time. Reba McEntire is having a concert on June 16th at 8:00pm. Click on the link below to see all the upcoming events.

Darrel and I are attending his nephew's (Austin Smith) graduation this morning at Pope John XXIII. Austin is the son of his sister Peggy Smith, and is an awsome young man. The graduation starts at 10:00am at Pope John XXIII, and most of Austin's family will be there. We are all very proud of Austin and wish him all the best life has to give. Austin will attend U T in San Antonio this fall  his dad graduated from U T in Austin. Darrel and I just want to congratulate Austin on his graduation and wish him all the best life has to offer, we know he will do well.

We now have a new entrance to Cross Creek Ranch, Flewellen Oaks at FM1463 is now open. Cross Creek Ranch is growing with leaps and bounds. When I moved here there were only around 50 homes in Cross Creek Ranch, wow now look at us. Darrel is still patiently waiting for McDonalds to open. LOL (maybe not so patiently) The area is growing so fast, Swampy's on 1093, in the same center that All Star Family Grill is located, will be open soon, Darrel can't wait. We hear it will be in a couple of weeks. Darrel has met Bob who is managing Swampy's while dropping off his laundry and Bob told him to hang on and gave him a tour of the inside. According to Darrel it is going to be great. I will keep you posted.
